EVE Energy has commenced the construction of the 'EVE Sodium Energy Headquarters and Jinyuan Robotics AI Center' project within District D of its Huizhou headquarters. The sodium battery division represents a significant investment, totaling around 1 billion yuan. It is designed to encompass a construction area of approximately 90,000 square meters and boast an annual production capacity of 2GWh. This innovative platform is set to seamlessly integrate 'research and development, pilot production, and large-scale manufacturing,' with a specific focus on crafting 'traceless' and 'non-flammable' sodium-ion battery solutions tailored for AIDC (Automated Identification and Data Capture) and energy storage systems, thereby advancing the vision of 'zero-carbon sodium batteries.'

Simultaneously, the project includes plans to construct the Jinyuan Robotics AI Center, spanning an area of roughly 50,000 square meters. This center is envisioned to oversee the entire robotics lifecycle, from initial R&D to final assembly, implementing a dual-pronged approach of 'robotics combined with generative AI.' Chairman Liu Jincheng emphasized the company's commitment to harnessing AI technology in the future to propel the intelligent transformation of lithium battery manufacturing and establish a highly automated, intelligent production system.
