On December 9, Stellantis and Bolt unveiled a strategic partnership aimed at jointly advancing the development and commercial rollout of Level 4 (L4) autonomous vehicles throughout Europe. Under this collaboration, the two entities intend to begin deploying test fleets across multiple European nations starting in 2026, with an ambitious initial target of achieving full-scale production by 2029. Bolt, which currently operates ride-hailing services in more than 50 countries—including 23 European Union member states—plans to seamlessly integrate Stellantis' autonomous vehicles into its existing shared mobility ecosystem, enhancing convenience and accessibility for users across the continent.
