Cao Cao Mobility, a unit under Geely Holding Group, convened a Robotaxi strategy enhancement summit in Hangzhou. During the gathering, CEO Gong Xin unveiled the refined Robotaxi strategy and outlined an ambitious development vision of "a decade, 100 cities, 100 billion yuan." The plan entails setting up five operational hubs over the coming decade, extending services to 100 cities, and amassing a total gross transaction value (GTV) of 100 billion yuan. Additionally, Cao Cao Mobility also showcased and officially rolled out its inaugural "Green Smart Mobility Island." Cao Cao Mobility detailed its "three-pronged" Robotaxi strategy: initial phase of technical verification and limited-scale trials, moving on to autonomous operations and delving into hybrid business models in the present stage, and aiming for complete global commercialization with bespoke vehicle designs down the line. The Green Smart Mobility Island boasts a range of features, including designated eVTOL takeoff and landing zones and charging ports. Looking ahead, it will facilitate smooth interchanges between Robotaxis and eVTOLs, supported by communication and positioning services from a low-Earth orbit satellite constellation.
