Based on data sourced from the General Administration of Customs and compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in October 2025, the total value of automotive product imports and exports soared to US$25.31 billion. This figure reflects a 1.7% increase compared to the previous month and a 9.5% surge year-on-year. Specifically, the import value stood at US$3.68 billion, experiencing a 4.6% decline month-on-month and a 17.5% decrease year-on-year. Conversely, the export value reached US$21.63 billion, showing a 2.9% rise month-on-month and a 15.9% increase year-on-year. From January to October 2025, the cumulative total import and export volume of automotive products across the nation amounted to US$232.08 billion, remaining roughly unchanged from the same period in the previous year. Within this total, the import value was US$37.89 billion, a 31.8% drop year-on-year, while the export value reached US$194.19 billion, a 10% increase year-on-year.
