On September 17, Deutsche Bank projected that NIO would unveil the final pricing for its latest ES8 SUV on September 20, with an anticipated uptick in its weekly delivery volumes thereafter. Analyst Bin Wang anticipates that the ES8's actual selling price will undercut its pre-sale price by a range of 7,000 to 17,000 yuan. According to company forecasts, the production capacity for this model is set to hit 10,000 units in October, escalating to 15,000 units by December. Wang noted that NIO's sales in the second week of September saw a 36% year-on-year boost, thanks to the recent introduction of the L90 all-electric SUV. With battery supply issues being resolved, sales of the L90 model are poised for further growth. Wang also highlighted that some potential buyers have been holding off on purchases, awaiting the final pricing announcement for the ES8. It is expected that this will lead to a notable spike in weekly deliveries. Deutsche Bank reaffirms its 'Buy' stance on NIO's stock.
