The Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau has released the 'Work Plan for Guangzhou to Establish a National-Level Pilot City for the Large-Scale Deployment of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Interaction (2025-2027)'. This initiative is designed to propel the development of a multi-scenario, multi-participant V2G benchmark demonstration zone in Baiyun District. The pilot project will encompass a minimum of eight distinct scenarios, such as residential neighborhoods, industrial complexes, office campuses, battery swap facilities, bus terminals, logistics hubs, government office zones, and public parks. Additionally, it will encourage the involvement of industrial parks focused on enhancing quality and efficiency. The plan sets ambitious targets, including the installation of no fewer than 300 V2G charging stations by the end of 2025, achieving a cumulative discharge capacity of at least 300,000 kilowatt-hours, and ensuring the regular participation of no less than 400 vehicles in V2G activities.
