The "Guangzhou Work Plan for Establishing a National-Level Pilot City for Large-Scale Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Interaction Applications (2025-2027)" has now been officially released. This comprehensive plan outlines a series of supportive measures, prominently featuring construction subsidies that will cover up to 50% of the equipment costs associated with establishing V2G charging and battery-swapping stations. Additionally, the plan introduces discharge subsidies, capped at a maximum of 5 yuan per kilowatt-hour, to further incentivize participation. In parallel, efforts to upgrade the municipal-level charging facility supervision platform with enhanced V2G equipment monitoring capabilities will be subsidized up to 50% of the investment required for such upgrades. However, it's important to note that the total annual funds allocated for awards and subsidies will not exceed 20 million yuan. To boost enthusiasm among individual users participating in the pilot program, automotive manufacturers and related enterprises are encouraged to provide advance subsidies.
