As indicated by the Qichacha APP, on September 10, a court released an apology statement from a self-media platform to Liu Jining, the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Jiyue. On December 12, 2024, this self-media entity posted an article on its official account with the sensational headline, "Car-Manufacturing Funds Suddenly Vanish: 17 Billion Yuan Missing—Has the Finance Director Absconded to Singapore?" The article's content was published without any verification from Liu Jining himself, and the claims made within, including the assertion that Liu Jining had "fled with accounting records," were entirely unfounded. Individuals within Jiyue had already unequivocally refuted these rumors. Further investigation reveals that Liu Jining tendered his resignation to the board of directors in early October and had remained in Shanghai throughout this period. Following the completion of his resignation formalities in mid-November, he traveled to London, UK. There was no instance of him being unreachable or fleeing. Moreover, Jiyue's financial operations are managed through the SAP system, which ensures a high degree of automation in accounting, eliminating any possibility of accounting records being taken away.
