Zotye Auto's Chongqing Branch Assembly Line Dismantled, Halting T300 Production for 2023

On September 1, Zotye Auto released a statement disclosing that the assembly line and associated equipment for the T300 model, located at the Chongqing Branch of its subsidiary Hunan Jiangnan Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., were auctioned by the Bishan District People's Court in Chongqing on July 23. However, neither the initial nor the subsequent auction attracted any buyers. In accordance with the court's enforcement directives, the equipment will now be dismantled following the conclusion of the second auction. Consequently, Zotye Auto will not be able to resume production of its inaugural model, the T300, this year.
