Tesla has announced that it will unveil a new high-performance variant of the Model Y this Friday. A teaser image shared by the company's official accounts in Europe and the Middle East suggests that the new vehicle may sport a rear wing design. Previous sightings of a test car at the Nürburgring circuit revealed that this model will come equipped with high-performance features, including 21-inch wheels, a carbon fiber rear wing, and bucket seats.
While Tesla is also in the process of developing more affordable models, it is highly anticipated that Friday's unveiling will be for the high-performance variant. The more budget-friendly models are projected to enter mass production in the second half of 2025, with a potential debut in either the US or Chinese markets.
