On August 26, Wang Hongzhi, member of the Party leadership group at the National Development and Reform Commission and head of the National Energy Administration, revealed at a press conference that China has achieved remarkable milestones in the development of its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The country has established the world's largest EV charging network, with a ratio of two charging stations for every five vehicles. Concurrently, China's renewable energy sector has undergone rapid expansion, emerging as the largest and fastest-growing system globally. The installed capacity of renewable energy power generation has surged, increasing from 40% to approximately 60%.
