On August 18, it was announced that Qingdao Port in Shandong Province witnessed a notable 23% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle exports from January to July this year. Notably, new energy vehicle exports soared, achieving a staggering 1617% year-on-year growth, while engineering vehicle exports also rose by 35%. According to the latest figures from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China's overall vehicle exports for the same period stood at 3.68 million units, marking a 12.8% year-on-year increase. Commercial vehicle production and sales grew by 6% and 3.9%, respectively, with new energy vehicle exports surging 84.6% year-on-year, emerging as a pivotal driver of foreign trade expansion.

Qingdao Port has been actively expanding its route network in 2025, introducing multiple new international breakbulk routes, including the "Qingdao-North Africa" and "Qingdao-India and Pakistan" routes. Furthermore, the port has innovatively adopted a dual-engine model for port aggregation, combining "railway trunk lines + short road transfers," to establish an efficient multimodal transport system that has successfully reduced logistics costs by over 10%.
