Sources within the supply chain indicate that mass production of key components for this device is anticipated to commence by the end of the third quarter of 2025, with the potential for system assembly to begin before the year concludes. The anticipated price range for this new MacBook is between $599 and $699, marking a substantial decrease from the current MacBook Air's entry-level price of $999 (or $899 with a student discount). It is rumored that this notebook will be equipped with the same A18 Pro processor as the upcoming iPhone 16 series and will sport a 12.9-inch display, slightly smaller than the 13.6-inch screen found on current models.
