Effective August 5, 2025, Guangxi will revive its subsidy program encompassing trade-ins of home appliances, 3C digital products, electric bicycles, home decoration materials, kitchenware, and bathroom fixtures throughout the region. This move seeks to amplify the impact of the consumer goods trade-in policy and cater to the evolving needs of consumers for product upgrades. Subsidies will be processed and redeemed through physical stores, subject to a daily cap on the total subsidy amount. Customers can apply for subsidy vouchers via the UnionPay App, which offers immediate discounts at the point of purchase. Each consumer is eligible for one subsidy per category annually, with an exception for air conditioning products, where up to three subsidies are permitted.
