During the second quarter of 2025, global mobile phone shipments totaled 288.9 million units, marking a stagnation from the previous year. According to Canalys data, Samsung emerged as the leading brand in terms of shipments, followed by Apple, with Xiaomi firmly holding onto the third spot. Samsung experienced a year-on-year growth of 7%, whereas Apple witnessed a decline of 2%. Xiaomi, on the other hand, maintained stable shipment levels.
