According to the parent, Mr. Han, the watch was purchased from an official flagship store in January 2024 and was typically kept on the bedside table. Fortunately, on this occasion, it was resting on a stone table, which likely mitigated the severity of the incident. Surveillance footage captured the alarming moment when the watch, while in a static position, suddenly sparked and began emitting dense smoke.
Mr. Han voiced his deep concern, stating that had the watch been worn on his child's wrist, the potential consequences would have been unthinkable.
