Meizu has once again undergone a change at its helm. Recently, Huang Zhipan's Weibo profile was updated to reflect his new role as CEO of Star Era Meizu Group, signaling the departure of former CEO Su Jing, who had held the position for just over a year. A brief recap of the past few years reveals a turbulent leadership landscape: in 2021, Huang Zhang relinquished the CEO position of Meizu to his younger brother, Huang Zhipan; in 2023, Geely consolidated Star Era and Meizu under the Star Era Meizu banner, with Shen Ziyu assuming the dual roles of Chairman and CEO; in 2024, Shen Ziyu stepped down, handing the reins to Su Jing; and now, Huang Zhipan has reclaimed the CEO position. Over the span of five years, Meizu has witnessed four CEO transitions.
