The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has officially launched its pioneering intercity long-haul drone logistics route. A logistics drone embarked from Tangjia Port in Zhuhai and safely touched down at the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Dock, covering a distance of 82.9 kilometers in just 55 minutes. This successful journey underscores the viability of establishing long-distance drone logistics connections between cities. Looking ahead, drones with enhanced payload capabilities will be integrated into this route, and a multitude of intercity and cross-border logistics pathways will be expanded, collectively striving to forge a comprehensive logistics network encompassing the prime coastal regions of the Greater Bay Area.
