The app originally known as 'Is Someone Dead', which once drew widespread attention for its innovative survival check-in feature, underwent acquisition and was subsequently rebranded as 'Is Someone There' in May of this year. Initially deployed in the Nanxing Subdistrict of Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, the app's primary function is to monitor the well-being of solitary and empty-nest elderly individuals.

The app has since been upgraded into an intelligent elderly care platform, introducing the 2.0 system AIP safety network. This advancement eliminates the need for manual check-ins by the elderly, as it now analyzes mobile phone behavior data to assess home safety status. In comparison to traditional methods, this system not only reduces costs but also significantly enhances usage rates and the efficiency of grassroots work.

The app charges the government an annual fee of 99 yuan for the 1.0 system and 199 yuan for the 2.0 system. The procurement is centralized by the government, and installation is provided free of charge for solitary elderly individuals. Presently, the app has been promoted across Zhejiang Province and is making efforts to expand into Guangdong, Shandong, Gansu, and other regions, boasting a user base of six to seven hundred thousand. The company has achieved a balance of payments and begun to generate profits, with an estimated value of approximately 200 million yuan.
