On October 20, Nanjing Tianlu Flying Car made a notable appearance on CCTV’s ‘Smart Competition for the Future’ program, showcasing its innovative Tianlu X flying car and Xingjian Y eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. The Tianlu X, independently developed by the team over a span of five years, was first unveiled to the public in 2025. It boasts an original split-coupling architecture, a pioneering design that enables seamless switching between road-driving and eVTOL flight modes. During the live broadcast, CEO Zhang Xiufeng provided valuable insights into the technical roadmap, safety features, and commercialization strategies of the products. He aptly described the Tianlu X as a vehicle that “adds wings to cars and legs to aircraft,” highlighting its dual functionality. Currently, Tianlu is actively pushing forward with the validation and application of its products in various scenarios, including cultural tourism experiences, inspections, and emergency rescue operations. The company is playing a pivotal role in driving the industrialization of China’s original land-air integrated mobility solutions, paving the way for a new era of transportation.
