On October 14, Serhii Sternenko, an advisor on drone combat for Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, reported that, as of Tuesday evening local time, SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service has started to restrict connections for certain high-speed mobile terminals used by the Ukrainian military. This move has resulted in the suspension of several crucial military operations. Sternenko noted that the disruption occurs when Starlink terminals reach speeds exceeding 160 kilometers per hour, whereas standard satellite communication terminals are not impacted. He speculated that this limitation might be linked to the Trump administration, though he did not offer any supporting evidence. Additionally, he did not clarify whether SpaceX has issued any response to these allegations.
