The Ministry of Commerce and eight other departments jointly released the 'Action Plan for Promoting Smart Home Consumption'. The plan proposes to expand the supply of high-quality smart home products. By combining the cultivation and opening of full industry chain scenarios for digital homes, it encourages production enterprises to increase research and development efforts in smart home products and supports home furnishing stores and shopping centers in establishing smart home experience centers, as well as model rooms for whole-house smart solutions and digital homes. At the same time, it aims to accelerate the cultivation of a group of large-scale home improvement enterprises and platforms that operate with integrity and provide standardized services, offering personalized and diverse renovation packages, and vigorously developing customized, order-based, and appointment-based services. Additionally, it will expedite the development of smart home hardware and software products, as well as integrated solutions, based on domestic open-source operating systems.
