Huawei's official website has recently rolled out an updated announcement concerning the discontinuation of technical support for its software platforms, outlining the official dates when the End of Service (EOS) will take effect for various operating system versions. Notably, support for HarmonyOS 1.0 will come to an end on September 14, 2026. Other versions, including EMUI 9.1.X, EMUI 10.X, EMUI 11.0.0, HarmonyOS 2.0.0 AP, and HarmonyOS 4.0.0 AQ, will no longer be supported as of May 28, 2025. Furthermore, support for EMUI versions ranging from 1.X to 9.0.X has already been terminated as of March 5, 2024. The services that will be phased out encompass software upgrades and updates. Nevertheless, in the case of significant security vulnerabilities emerging, Huawei reserves the right to issue essential security patches to ensure user safety.
