According to the latest report released by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the global shipments of household cleaning robots soared to approximately 11.205 million units in the second quarter of 2026, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 21.5%. Within this total, shipments of robotic vacuum cleaners specifically reached 7.885 million units, reflecting an even greater concentration among the leading manufacturers. After achieving a remarkable 36.6% growth in the first quarter, the market's growth rate stabilized to a more typical level in the second quarter. However, market differentiation became more pronounced: the dominant position of the top three players in the robotic vacuum cleaner market remained unchallenged, lawn mowing robots continued to experience robust growth, and pool robots entered their peak sales period.
