Apple is on the verge of launching its first foldable iPhone, and the status of its domestic A-share supply chain is slowly coming into focus. After conducting inquiries with eight relevant companies, it has emerged that Chinese firms are deeply integrated into the supply chain, though their involvement is primarily concentrated in secondary support roles, such as UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) and hinge components. Lens Technology, for instance, has confirmed its role in supplying core structural components, including UTG glass, and has already commenced shipments. Five other companies, including Yi'an Technology and MIMU Technology, are potentially involved in areas such as hinges, MIM (Metal Injection Molding) precision components, and flexible circuit boards. However, due to either pending order confirmations or confidentiality agreements, these companies have not provided explicit confirmation of their participation. Meanwhile, Furong Technology has unequivocally stated that it is not part of the supply chain for this foldable display.
