On August 28, during the Hongmeng Ecosystem Conference 2026, Xu Zhijun, Huawei’s Rotating Chairman, disclosed that the Hongmeng ecosystem currently boasts more than 100,000 native applications. Furthermore, HarmonyOS-powered phones can access a vast library of over 400,000 applications. As of August 20, the cumulative installations of HarmonyOS 6 on terminal devices have surpassed 80 million, with projections indicating that the user base will exceed 100 million in the fourth quarter of this year. This milestone signifies that the Hongmeng ecosystem is poised to surpass 100 million users by the end of the year, marking the commencement of a new growth phase.
