Chinese tech firm Photon Matrix has unveiled a groundbreaking laser mosquito tracking and extermination system. This innovative device harnesses the power of LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, AI-driven vision, and precision laser technology to precisely pinpoint and eliminate mosquitoes, all while ensuring a non-invasive approach towards other airborne creatures, such as butterflies. Within a 6-meter radius and a 90-degree sector (area), it can effectively target mosquitoes as minuscule as 2 millimeters, even when they're darting through the air at speeds of up to 1 meter per second. The device is complemented by a user-friendly mobile app that offers a range of functionalities. When paired with a 20,000mAh fast-charging power bank, it can operate continuously for 4 hours. Available in both outdoor and indoor variants, the outdoor model boasts a 360-degree rotating mount for comprehensive coverage, while the indoor version employs infrared sensing and eye-safe lasers. Priced at $1,088 and $988 respectively, these devices present a novel, chemical-free physical solution for mosquito control.
