As the 2026 half-year report disclosure season unfolds, data reveals that products like intelligent walking exoskeletons, AI-powered glasses, and AI-enabled smartphones are swiftly finding their way into the shopping carts of everyday consumers, emerging as key growth drivers in the financial results of listed companies. According to figures from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to July, retail sales of wearable smart devices from businesses above a designated size have more than doubled. Hong Yong, an associate researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, remarked that intelligent consumption has shifted from being a mere "conceptual introduction" to a tangible "performance realization," marking it as a significant avenue for bolstering domestic demand expansion.
