The joint laboratory established by BOE and 3M was officially unveiled and put into operation in Beijing. Serving as an exclusive joint R&D center for both parties, the laboratory will focus on research in key areas such as optical films. It will conduct joint research on core topics including light efficiency enhancement in LCD, OLED, and MLED fields, as well as folding technologies, while integrating resources from both sides to provide comprehensive professional testing. A representative from 3M stated that this marks a new phase of strategic collaboration and joint innovation in their 20-year partnership, noting that the two companies have already achieved multiple mass-production milestones across multiple display technology domains.
