On August 18, during the media conference call for the 2026 interim results held on the evening of the same day, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, indicated that although the rate of memory price hikes is anticipated to decelerate in the latter half of this year, prices are projected to stay at elevated levels, resulting in consistently high storage costs. Xiaomi has established enduring, trust-based partnerships with five leading memory suppliers and is swiftly modifying its product lineup and launch timetable to boost the average selling price of its offerings. Lu Weibing disclosed that Xiaomi plans to introduce flagship smartphones in the second half of the year, and the Xiaomi Auto Pengcheng series will also make its official debut in the market. The company is optimistic about its performance for the remainder of the year.
