Google has officially announced the launch of its latest Pixel 11 series of smartphones, marking a $100 price hike across the board for the entire lineup. Pre-orders for the new devices are now available, with official sales set to kick off on August 20. The series retains the design aesthetic of the Pixel 9, but brings several key upgrades and adjustments. Notably, only the Pro models feature a notification LED light. The Pro version's screen brightness has been boosted to an impressive 3600 nits, while the base model maintains a brightness of 3000 nits. Although the battery capacity has seen a slight reduction, the efficiency of the Tensor G6 chip has been enhanced by 20%, ensuring that the battery life remains on par with the previous generation. The Tensor G6 is a 7-core Arm chip, boasting one fewer core than its predecessor, the Tensor G5. In terms of photography, the camera pixel counts remain unchanged, but the base model's zoom capability has been upgraded to 30x, and the Pro version can reach up to an astonishing 120x. Additionally, AI capabilities have been significantly enhanced. As for pricing, the Pixel 11 starts at $899, while the top-tier Pixel 11 Pro Fold commands a maximum price of $1899.
