Apple has recently opted to remove a contentious iPhone billboard advertisement in Milan, Italy. The ad in question faced severe criticism for seemingly endorsing the practice of 'electronic babysitting,' a trend that has drawn ire from local child welfare groups. The visual featured a young child clutching an iPhone smeared with food, paired with the Italian tagline 'Tutto ok, è iPhone' (It's all good, it's an iPhone). This portrayal has raised eyebrows among some residents, who worry that it normalizes the reliance on electronic gadgets as a means to keep children occupied. Consequently, a formal complaint was lodged with the Italian Agency for the Protection of Children's Rights (AGIA).
