At the "Made by Google" event held on Wednesday, Google officially introduced the Pixel Watch 5 smartwatch, priced starting at $399. The watch comes in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm, offering battery lives of 30 hours and 40 hours, respectively. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, it boasts enhanced memory of 3GB and a spacious 64GB of storage. The LTPO AMOLED screen shines with a peak brightness of 3000nits and supports GPS, NFC, and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) capabilities. From a health perspective, it monitors blood oxygen saturation, detects atrial fibrillation, and tracks sleep. It also includes features for cardiac arrest detection and automatic emergency calling. Moreover, the watch introduces the Gemini AI experience and incorporates a satellite SOS function, which users can utilize free of charge for two years following their purchase.
