Samsung is set to stage the much-anticipated Galaxy Unpacked product launch event in London on July 22, 2026, where it will lift the veil on three brand-new foldable smartphones: the Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip8.

Among these, the Galaxy Z Fold8, tipping the scales at a mere 201 grams, is poised to claim the title of the lightest large foldable smartphone ever made. Its sleek profile and refined screen creases give it an edge over the Ultra variant. Early adopters who've had a hands-on experience with the prototype are singing its praises, especially for its featherlight feel.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, on the other hand, is designed as a premium offering tailored for photography aficionados. It retains a high-performance telephoto camera with a large sensor and boasts a more capacious battery.
