On July 7th, the EH216-S, an autonomous electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft developed by EHang, successfully conducted its inaugural flight in Switzerland. This milestone extends EHang's global flight network to encompass 22 countries. The flight, which took place in Quinto, Ticino, showcased the eVTOL's capability to navigate and surmount the challenges posed by complex mountainous landscapes, thereby offering robust technological backing for regional logistics and tourism travel.
