Based on his in-depth industry analysis, he anticipates that assembly shipments of the foldable iPhone will amount to 7 to 8 million units during the second half of 2026. Specifically, approximately 500,000 to 1 million units are expected to be shipped in the third quarter, constituting 10% of Apple’s total shipments for that period. The device is likely to be priced between $2,300 and $2,500. Given the anticipated supply limitations, the resale market could witness a significant markup, with prices possibly surging 50% to 100% above the retail cost.
