On July 5, it was reported by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China that China's first fixed-wing aircraft for comprehensive atmospheric environment detection, the 'Y-12F Atmospheric Comprehensive Aerial Survey Aircraft,' recently achieved a successful maiden flight at Harbin Pingfang Airport. Based on the Y-12F aircraft, this plane has undergone the integration and retrofitting of over 60 mission-specific devices to meet the high-sensitivity, three-dimensional detection requirements for multiple pollutants, including atmospheric particulates, gaseous pollutants, greenhouse gases, and cloud-water physical and chemical properties. It now possesses the capability for integrated aerial surveys of multiple pollutants, greenhouse gases, and cloud-water. Its successful development will provide an important vertical detection tool for regional atmospheric pollution monitoring in China.
