Recently, X user @samhenrigold discovered an unreleased Apple device with the codename B790 in the iOS 27 system source code. This device supports the 'Visual Intelligence' feature, capable of transmitting images from cameras positioned on both sides of the user's head. Combining this with the codename B788 for the AirPods Pro 3, it is speculated that B790 could be a new AirPods product with cameras, potentially named AirPods Ultra. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman stated that the product has entered the engineering verification stage, but due to technical challenges such as optimizing Siri AI interactions and visual AI models, its release may be delayed until 2027.
