The three major Android custom systems under Oppo—OxygenOS, Realme UI, and ColorOS—are planning a comprehensive unification, with all set to be integrated into ColorOS in the future. This move is seen as part of a broader integration strategy at the Oppo Group level. As early as 2021, Liu Zuohu, then head of OnePlus, revealed that OxygenOS would merge with ColorOS, meaning OnePlus phones would no longer be software-independent from other Oppo models. Now, Realme UI is also set to merge into ColorOS, seen by the industry as the final outcome of this integration process.
