On July 2, according to U.S. tech journalist Gurman, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iPhone, Apple plans to launch an upgraded iPad Pro series, a redesigned entry-level MacBook Pro, and several other new products next year. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Apple is testing four new iPad Pro models, scheduled for release in spring 2027, with screen sizes retaining the current 11-inch and 13-inch options. The updates will primarily focus on internal improvements, including faster chips. Previous reports indicated that Apple has been testing a vapor chamber cooling system for its tablets to enhance sustained performance and reduce overheating. Additionally, Apple plans to release a redesigned entry-level MacBook Pro, codenamed K104, in the first half of next year. This 14-inch laptop will feature a completely new design, aligning with Apple's upcoming high-end touchscreen MacBook, which is expected to launch between the end of this year and early next year.
