NVIDIA's premium GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has recently become the center of attention once again, this time due to ongoing issues with its 16-pin power connector. The most recent incident involves an RTX 5090 where the 16-pin power connector not only burned severely but also exploded. This catastrophic failure led to significant charring of the PCB around the connector area, complete destruction of the GPU core and memory chips, and rendered the graphics card entirely beyond repair (a more precise term would be 'irreparable failure'). Prior to this, the same graphics card had suffered from multiple malfunctions, such as the melting of the power connector and capacitor explosions. These recurring problems have heightened user concerns regarding the stability and safety of the graphics card's power supply system.
