In June, a factory belonging to Tata Group—a key partner in Apple's supply chain—located in India, was hit by a massive cyberattack. This breach led to the theft of over 630GB of confidential data. The stolen information encompasses logic motherboard design schematics for both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as well as data manuals for various chips designed by Apple, notably including the A20 Pro. Furthermore, the compromised files also contained technical documentation pertaining to Apple's C2 baseband chip, along with a comprehensive list of part numbers for the internal components of the iPhone 18 Pro. The magnitude of this data leak significantly surpasses initial external assessments.
