Recent chatter on Chinese social media platforms hints that Apple may unveil its inaugural foldable iPhone Ultra this fall, while simultaneously gearing up for its successor, the iPhone Ultra 2. The iPhone Ultra 2 is rumored to retain the screen specs and aspect ratio of its predecessor, but will come with notable enhancements in chip performance, imaging capabilities, and system functionality. The first-generation iPhone Ultra's display is reportedly sourced solely from Samsung, incorporating cutting-edge M16 luminescent materials and CoE packaging technology. These advancements promise to elevate brightness, color accuracy, energy efficiency, and bending resilience. The device itself is said to adopt a horizontal, book-like inward-folding design, boasting a 5.5-inch external display and a 7.8-inch internal screen. It's also expected to debut with TSMC's 2nm process A20 Pro chip, which is slated for a September release.
