Recently, Apple's auto-naming feature in the Photos app, powered by AI, has drawn a wave of criticism from users. While designed to streamline photo organization, the feature has inadvertently introduced a series of laughable naming blunders, thanks to the algorithm's limited comprehension of diverse scenes. For instance, it has mistakenly tagged graduation photos as 'weddings' and casual at-home snapshots as 'travel' photos. This has left users with no choice but to manually rectify each erroneous label, significantly adding to their organizational burden. To make matters worse, Apple has yet to introduce a simple one-click solution to disable this feature, leading users to demand more control over their photo management and improvements to the underlying algorithm.
