Last week, Apple officially unveiled iOS 27, bringing functional enhancements to the iPhone's 'Find My' app. This update is centered around boosting the flexibility of location sharing. Users can now tailor the duration or deadline of location sharing according to their preferences. Moreover, a distinct pause function has been introduced, enabling users to halt location sharing without alerting the other party. In terms of visual design, the 'Find My' app interface now embraces the LiquidGlass aesthetic, elevating its appeal and making it more easily recognizable. Furthermore, iOS 27 extends landscape mode support to more than a dozen apps, 'Find My' included, aiming to enrich the user experience on large-screen devices. Currently, the system is accessible to developers in beta form. A public beta is anticipated in July, followed by an official release in September.
