On the cusp of the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show, hardware producer Plaud has introduced its latest AI voice recorder, the Plaud NotePin S, along with a desktop notetaker that seamlessly integrates with a variety of meeting applications. The revamped voice recorder boasts physical buttons, enabling users to effortlessly initiate, halt recordings, and tag specific moments with just one press. With a price tag of $179, it incorporates the Apple Find My functionality, provides 64GB of storage space, can support up to 20 hours of uninterrupted recording, and is outfitted with two MEMS microphones. Subscribers can also take advantage of 300 minutes of complimentary transcription services each month. While its recording scope and battery endurance are marginally less than those of the Note Pro, it compensates with a more portable and compact design. Furthermore, Plaud's newly released desktop application can automatically identify meetings, employ AI to organize recordings into coherent notes, and offer multimodal input options.
