As per a December 31st report from the Financial Times, Trump Mobile, a phone company operating under the Trump Organization, has decided to delay its plan to ship golden smartphones by the year's end. The smartphone, dubbed T1, was introduced in June of this year, boasting a price point of $499. Originally slated for an August debut, its launch was subsequently pushed back to the end of the year. According to the customer service team at Trump Mobile, the shutdown of the U.S. government is the reason behind the delivery delay, and there's a 'high probability' that the smartphone won't be dispatched this month. Initially, Trump Mobile touted the T1 phone as 'made in the USA,' but this claim was later revised to 'assembled in the USA.' Furthermore, Trump Mobile has also initiated a service for selling pre-owned Apple and Samsung devices, catering to a broader market segment.
