Drones are poised to emerge as the primary mode of delivery in the future. Yet, fresh regulations in the United States have sparked apprehensions. On the 23rd, reports surfaced indicating that the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is forging ahead with new rules. These regulations would permit delivery drones to undertake autonomous flights beyond the operator's direct line of sight. Moreover, they would enable a single staff member to oversee multiple drones concurrently from a control room. These novel regulations are currently undergoing pilot testing in Dallas, Texas.

However, aviation experts have sounded the alarm, noting that the capacity of US airspace is on the verge of reaching its saturation point. They caution that drone deliveries could introduce safety risks during flight operations.
