On December 23 local time, Poland's Minister of Interior and Administration announced that the first components of an anti-drone system have been activated along the Polish-Belarusian border, installed on observation towers in the Krejniki area of Podlaskie Voivodeship. These observation towers, standing over 70 meters tall, are equipped with radars that represent the first component of the PCL system. Additional deployments are planned for four other already constructed observation towers. The initial phase of this system aims to detect, locate, and track aerial objects coming from the east, with the ultimate goal of countering drones.
