Sources indicate that Apple's forthcoming budget-friendly iPad (anticipated to be the 12th generation) might come equipped with the latest A19 chip. This revelation stems from an 'Apple internal code file.' Should this prove accurate, it would mark a significant departure from Apple's long-held practice of incorporating the previous generation's chip into its budget iPad models. Traditionally, the iPad 12 would have been expected to house the A18 chip, a notion that stands in contrast to information gleaned from other sources. Earlier documents had suggested that the iPad 12 would be outfitted with the A18 chip, and the device codes cited in the report appear somewhat implausible. Nevertheless, the report's details regarding other iPad models seem to align more closely with prevailing external expectations. For instance, the iPad Air is projected to feature the M4 chip, while both the new iPad and iPad Air are expected to incorporate the N1 network chip to boost Bluetooth and Wi-Fi energy efficiency.
